Stress and over thinking is real, sometimes we let our thoughts overwhelm us to the point where it begins to affect our entire mood. Yes, I know that life is real and some situations do require constructive thinking and problem solving but majority of the time we let toxic thoughts sabotage everything.
When you really think about it (no pun intended) stress is just a thought – a fear of potential unknown factors. We must be mindful of our thoughts and how we perceive ourselves in the mist of deadlines, demands, financial trouble, death, or whatever you are going through.
There are plenty of ways to cope with stress; pray, read the word, challenge your thoughts, vent to a family member or friend, go for a run, cry etc…whatever you do remember that the problem is never too big for you to handle and you been put on this earth to win.
Check out what the Bible has to say about stress.
In Matthew 6:25-34 (ESV). Verse 25-27: "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?"
